Kenny Joel is a contemporary country and pop lyricist based in the Upper Midwest heartland. A classically trained orchestral percussionist, Kenny learned piano to bring his lyrics to life.

Kenny's friendly, collaborative nature has led to successful co-writes and workshops with Nashville artists including Kelsey Hart and Ian Flanigan. Kenny is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) and an active member of Nashville Songwriters Assocation International and the SongTown songwriting community.

The Nashville Songwriters Association International has named indie songwriter Kenny Joel Baker's song demo, "Let's Steal Time," as "One to Watch." The NSAI regularly recognizes members with songs that "stand out to the evaluator as a unique idea, an outstanding song, or a song they feel is ready to be pitched."
